Dick Grayson is, well, Dick Grayson again. He’s finished with Spyral, he’s back from the (figurative) dead, and he’s got his secret identity back. There is one last bit of spy business he needs to take care of, though: the Parliament of Owls. They threatened Damian Wayne in order to get Dick to join them, and that is something Dick won’t stand for. He infiltrates their ranks once again, but this time they pair him with someone called Raptor. Though he’s a liar and a thief, Dick can’t help but feel like he can trust him. Almost like… like they have a connection. When the bond between them is revealed to be more than coincidence, can Dick continue to trust him? Can he even carry out this last spy mission without losing himself?
Well, the title got it right. The Rebirth Nightwing is way better than Rebirth Batman. The thing about Dick is, he’s got most of Batman’s characteristics and morals, but overall wrapped in a cheerier and (dare I say) more attractive package. Little hints are dropped as to Raptor’s secret identity throughout the book, leaving us readers hanging on the edge of our seats to see the mystery revealed. The art wasn’t as detailed and defined as I’d like, but the story was more than enough to keep me going.

Glad you enjoyed it; I liked this arc too. Raptor is a good character – I like the contrast with Batman!

The whole of Nightwing run so far has been fantastic , but as you pointed out the art does let it down at times

That’s the only thing I wish was better, but I definitely want to continue! Which is nice because I’ve been 50/50 on all Rebirth I’ve read XD

what books have you read in Rebirth? have you tried “Red Hood and Outlaws” and “Detective Comics” ? coz they have done the most consistent and best work so far in rebirth imo .
Meanwhile Nightwing , Batman (as per other people not for me ) Wonder Woman , Superman, Green Lanterns , and Action comics get better after some weak first few issues
And Hal Jordan and GL Corps , Green Arrow are good at the first few issues but later turn a bit mediocre
rest all are not good imo

I’ve read Batman, WW, Supergirl, and now Nightwing. WW is the only one I’ve liked enough to keep reading. My fiance read RHATO and said it was very good, so I’ll have to snatch his copy sometime =P Thank you!

Yep RHATO (Love the accronym) is fantastic , as I said , Batman hasn’t been good enough for me , but for some reason people are really liking it . Tom King as a whole is not my kind of author , so far the only Batman issues I’ve liked is the one where he has gone and done something huge and created shock value . not sure how i feel about that . I still read it coz it’s batman , but imo the better Batman book out there is Detective comics and recently the Dark Metal .
Haven’t read Supergirl , coz I don’t know much Supergirl history and well I have to stop spending somewhere .
