This is an arc of the Grimm Fairy Tales series; this particular one follows Robyn Locksley and Marian upon their return to Earth from Myst. They open a private investigation business and for their first case, investigate (literal) soul-sucking drugs that are being sold to local witches.

Man, I wanted to like this so much more than I did. It might have been because this book seems to start in the middle of the arc, but it might also be because it’s just plain boring. Even only getting halfway through it there seemed to already be a lot of threads and loose ends that weren’t being tied together. I couldn’t get into it at all. Even the art is unremarkable. I was really excited about a female Robin Hood/Green Arrow too =(

I might go back to the beginning of her arc and see if I like it any better, but for now, I have a whole pile I’m planning to plow through over break. Bigger fish to fry and all that =P
